Given the dangers of nuclear proliferation, and the potential that a peaceful nuclear energy program can be used to further a weaponization program, Congress must carefully scrutinize the agreement to ensure it meets America’s nonproliferation priorities and reject any agreement that fails to foreclose any Saudi pathway to a nuclear weapon.

On October 27, Israelis will go to the polls to elect a new government and prime minister. Regardless of the composition of Israel’s next government, the United States must work to deepen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship for the benefit of Americans and Israelis alike.
