AIPAC is an American grassroots organization that works to strengthen the U.S.-Israel partnership. Our mission is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.

Who funds AIPAC?

AIPAC is funded exclusively by Americans.

What does "AIPAC" stand for?

AIPAC stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

Who are AIPAC's members?

AIPAC members are American citizens who care deeply about strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship. We have more than 6.5 million members nationwide of different faiths, backgrounds, and political affiliations.

Is AIPAC an Israeli organization?

No, AIPAC is an American organization. We are not funded nor directed by the Israeli government.

Who makes AIPAC's decisions?

AIPAC's decisions are made by its Board of Directors who are all American citizens.

Is AIPAC a partisan organization?

No, AIPAC's members are Democrats and Republicans, and we support pro-Israel candidates on both sides of the aisle and oppose anti-Israel candidates on both sides as well.

Is AIPAC a corporate PAC?

No, AIPAC is a membership organization.
