Tensions Mount on Israel’s Northern Border

Iranian-backed terror groups are mounting attacks along Israel’s northern border. On July 27, Israel intercepted a Hezbollah terrorist cell that had penetrated the border. And a week later, Israel thwarted four Iranian-backed terrorists from placing explosive devices along the Syrian-Israeli border. These incidents underscore the constant threat and volatility Israelis confront. The United States must continue to support Israel’s right to self-defense and ensure the Jewish state has the means to do so.
