AIPAC mourns the passing of Ambassador Samuel Lewis

AIPAC mourns the passing of Ambassador Samuel Lewis who was a dedicated public servant, deeply committed to the peaceful resolution of conflict throughout the world.  As the US Ambassador to Israel, he played an instrumental role in helping to forge the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt.  Both in and out of government, Ambassador Lewis worked tirelessly to strengthen the US-Israel relationship.  AIPAC extends our condolences to his family and his countless colleagues and friends.
