Throughout much of Israel's existence, the Jewish state has been forced to address myriad dangers to its survival. While on one hand Israel faces the omnipresent threats of unstable borders, rockets from nearby enemies and an Iranian regime rapidly enriching uranium, Israel over the past few decades has faced another natural threat to its existence—the danger of completely "drying out."
