This year's featured speaker at the annual Washington Club will be Northern California AIPAC's Regional Director, Zack Bodner, who will provide a Middle East update. Additionally, Northern California AIPAC will be honoring George P. Schultz, former U.S. Secretary of State, and a friend of AIPAC.
George P. Schultz served as the United States Secretary of Labor from 1969-1970, as the U.S. Secretary of Treasury from 1972 to 1974, and as the U.S. Secretary of State from 1982 - 1989. Currently, Mr. Schultz is a member of the Hoover Institution at Stanford and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy Board of Adivsors. He is honorary chairman of The Israel Democracy Institute.
