Over three-quarters of the United States Senate has come together to sign a bipartisan letter to the Obama administration underscoring the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and laying out the bedrock support that exists in the United States Congress for the U.S.-Israel alliance.
The Senate letter, signed by 77 Senators, follows immediately on the heels of a similar House letter, signed by more than three-quarters of the House of Representatives in less than 72 hours. The House letter was sent to the Secretary of State with 333 signatures.
