Winter Storms Sweep the Eastern Mediterranean

Lebanon has been hit with a snow storm that has blocked roads in the mountains and brought heavy rain showers to the capital Beirut and other coastal areas since Sunday. In Israel, strong winds have blown over trees, leaving five people injured, while heavy rains have raised the level of the Sea of Galilee by 6.6 inches.
