Poll: 93% of Americans Believe it is Important to Prevent Iran Nukes

More than nine in ten Americans believe it is important for President Obama to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, according to a USA Today/Gallup poll released Thursday, November 15, The Hill reported. The poll found that 79 percent of Americans say it is extremely/very important for the President to address the threat of Iran and 14 percent say it is somewhat important. The Iranian issue ranked third on a list of goals for Obama’s second term, preceded only by restoring a strong economy and job market and ensuring the long-term stability of Social Security and Medicare.
