AIPAC’s Synagogue Initiative is a unique collaboration between your congregation and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, America’s pro-Israel lobby.

For many American Jews, the synagogue is the central address for the expression of their Jewish identities. We go there to pray, to learn and to connect. Whether we call it temple or shul, it is where we celebrate life’s milestones and remember lives lived.

And, throughout our modern history, America’s synagogues have also been at the forefront of activism. From calling attention to the horrors of the Holocaust, to marching in support of Soviet Jewry, our congregations have been a gathering place for people who care about our communities and our world and want to make a meaningful difference.

We at AIPAC also believe that synagogues are the place where the centrality of Israel can become a stronger part of our Jewish identity. We believe that by working together, we can help you enhance your synagogue’s offerings for congregant education and participation, while providing an opportunity for every affiliated American Jew to become a pro-Israel activist.
