A Diamond Intern position is now available for undergraduate and graduate students in the Jerusalem office of AIPAC and AIEF (the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC's education affiliate).
The Jerusalem office has two core missions:
- Conducting educational seminars in Israel for members of Congress and others in order to educate them about the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and
- Providing information to enhance AIPAC's lobbying agenda and strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Diamond Interns will work with both aspects of the Jerusalem office. Responsibilities include research, writing and event-coordination. Internships during the academic year are for credit only, while summer internships are paid positions.
Proficiency in both Hebrew and Arabic is preferred and Diamond Interns must commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week. Applicants should have demonstrable experience in pro-Israel campus activism and/or be veterans of AIPAC's Engaging Washington from Abroad program.
