Want to make a real and lasting difference?
With AIPAC, you can.
The New York Times has described AIPAC as, “the most important organization affecting America’s relationship with Israel.”
Work that matters
AIPAC’s mission is to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of Israel and the United States.
AIPAC staffers carry out this mission, making an extraordinary impact on foreign policy and individual lives worldwide.
Guided by enduring principles
AIPAC’s strategy and decision-making are guided by the following enduring principles:
- Bipartisan | Support for the U.S.-Israel relationship is championed by both the Democratic and the Republican parties. AIPAC ensures the support remains bipartisan through building relationships with elected officials on both sides of the aisle and securing bipartisan support of pro-Israel legislation in Congress.
- Grassroots Activism | AIPAC empowers pro-Israel activists across all ages, religions and races to be politically engaged and build relationships with members of Congress from both sides of the aisle. Over 100,000 AIPAC members help ensure grassroots support across the country.
- American Values | By ensuring a secure Israel, AIPAC staffers understand they are also strengthening America. One of AIPAC’s most important priorities is to broaden the base of pro-Israel advocacy and ensure that the U.S.-Israel relationship is embraced by people of all walks of life. This priority is reflected in the stark diversity of both AIPAC’s staff and lay community.
How we work
There are nearly 400 AIPAC staffers spread between 16 regional and satellite offices, in addition to the headquarters in Washington, D.C.
We build relationships with members of Congress and the wider policy community, while moving legislation forward that strengthens the U.S.-Israel alliance. In addition, we grow AIPAC’s membership and support our more than 100,000 citizen activists nationwide.
AIPAC’s national presence offers flexible opportunities across the country. Each office needs diverse backgrounds and skillsets.
