The resolution condemns the United Nations Human Rights Council for unfairly and incessantly criticizing Israel while ignoring severe human rights abuses in other countries, including Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba, China, Zimbabwe and Venezuela. The resolution, sponsored by Reps. John Campbell (R-CA) and Howard Berman (D-CA), urges the Human Rights Council to remove Israel from its permanent agenda and to hold special sessions addressing other countries in which human rights abuses are being committed.
