The resolution condemns the Holocaust denial conference held by the Iranian government in December 2006 in Tehran. It notes Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s statements that Israel should be “wiped off the map” and criticizes Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and support for terrorist groups like Hamas, Hizballah and Islamic Jihad.
