The resolution condemns recent waves of Palestinian suicide bombings and denounces Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat for his support of terrorism. It reaffirms its solidarity with Israel and its support for Israel’s right to defend itself. It also urges all Arab states to declare its unqualified opposition to all forms of terrorism and urges all parties to vigorously pursue a comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East.
