AIPAC Policy Conference: The pro-Israel community's preeminent annual gathering, with world leaders and activists

Join AIPAC Activists From Around the Nation for Three of the Most Important Days Affecting Israel's Future

The AIPAC Policy Conference is the pro-Israel community's preeminent annual gathering. The event, to be held June 2-4, 2008, attracts more than 6000 community leaders and student activists from all 50 states, and more than half of the U.S. Senate, a third of the House of Representatives and countless Israeli and American policymakers and thought leaders. Over three jam-packed days, Policy Conference participants choose from hundreds of informative sessions and participate in the pro-Israel community's largest and most important advocacy day.

Policy Conference 2008 Tentative Program Outline

This year's program promises an exciting array of speakers, breakout sessions and opportunities to meet fellow pro-Israel activists. Pre-registration will be open on Sunday, June 1 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Sunday night, join other AIPAC activists for regional dinners and dessert receptions.

MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2008

7:00 a.m.

Registration Re-Opens


9:30 – 11:15 a.m.

Opening Plenary

Hear from leading American and Israeli officials. Get to know the people writing the next chapter in the history of the U.S. and Israel. Experience cutting-edge multimedia presentations, highlighting the people on the frontlines of today’s most pressing issues.

11:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Kosher Café

All delegates may purchase lunch from a diverse menu in the conference’s new all-kosher café.

11:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Breakout Sessions

Choose from a vast number of programming options, including small group sessions, panel discussions, town hall meetings and special multimedia presentations. Topics will include: Israel–An American Asset, how the U.S.-Israel relationship benefits both countries and the world; background of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and what the future holds; the threat of growing Islamic terrorism and numerous other subjects.

6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Dinner Plenary

Experience the excitement of Policy Conference 2008 as you dine with more than 6,000 pro– Israel activists from all 50 states and hear from some of the top leaders and thinkers of our time.

Learn details about key legislation as you prepare to lobby your members of Congress and gather with your fellow activists to organize your own community-led meetings on Capitol Hill.

12:30 – 2:30 p.m.

Leadership Lunches

Open to Washington Club members and above.
