Roles and Responsibilities
- Create lists of possible parlor meeting hosts from lay leadership
- Contact lay leadership and work with them to create a parlor meeting inside their home or business
- Schedule meetings with guests from the parlor meeting to follow up with them and to solicit. Give guests additional information on AIPAC and get them to sign up
- Contact current membership about renewing their membership or paying overdue pledges
- Create follow up letters and summaries from community events
- Create invitation lists for magnet and delivered mail
- Speak occasionally at non-AIPAC events and at Young Leadership groups
- Organizing and promoting monthly meetings at the Dallas office
- Create lists for monthly membership dues
- Take care of all members donations within the office
Qualifications
- Strong people skills
- Must be able to develop relationships with members and lay leaders
- Extensive knowledge of the Middle East
- Extensive knowledge of AIPAC's issues and initiatives
- Public speaking skills
- Solicitation skills
- Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pledgemaker, and Business Objects
