In just weeks, the American pro-Israel community will gather in Washington for its largest annual gathering -- the AIPAC Policy Conference.
This year’s Policy Conference will include all of the elements that traditionally make the event a can’t-miss experience for anyone committed to ensuring the future of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Key American and Israeli elected officials and thinkers will address plenary sessions, and the top leadership of Congress will be on hand for the Gala Banquet -- a one-of-a-kind celebration which annually draws half of the Senate and a third of the House.
More than 100 breakout sessions will bring delegates face-to-face with top experts who will lead discussions on diverse topics including: the danger of a nuclear Iran; the motivations of Islamic terrorists; and support for Israel within the African-American, Hispanic and religiously motivated Christian communities. Participants will choose from a wide variety of programming formats including expert policy briefings, stimulating panel discussions and lively town hall meetings. During the conference’s final day, thousands of delegates will visit Capitol Hill to discuss with their lawmakers the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship.
In addition, a special track of programming will be offered to members of AIPAC’s top clubs, including the opportunity to take part in small, private sessions with foremost experts and acclaimed authors.
As always, the conference’s blockbuster main sessions will feature leading political figures along with dramatic stage sets and cutting-edge multimedia presentations. This year’s opening session will utilize satellite feeds and other technology to take delegates on a virtual tour of the Middle East. A top-flight panel of experts including Israel’s deputy defense minister and the former head of the CIA will take part in a roundtable discussion examining how the latest events in the region are shaping the world.
A special, highly interactive track of programming at this year’s conference will provide delegates the chance to hear from leading thinkers who will help prepare them to answer the toughest questions about Israel. And newly designed lobbying labs will utilize video and multimedia features to help prepare delegates for their Capitol Hill meetings.
With thousands of delegates already registered, this year’s AIPAC Policy Conference promises to be the largest ever. Don’t miss this opportunity to impact the future of Israel and its relationship with the United States.
